Arcetis built two online-booking websites for Pokhara travel and transport operators: pokharavehicle.com, a car/jeep/taxi driver-hire site with an instant, no-account ride-request flow confirmed on WhatsApp, and pokharacabbooking.com, a fuller 24/7 cab-booking platform with user accounts and packages — so travellers can book airport transfers, sightseeing, and tours online instead of only by phone.
Pokhara is Nepal's tourism hub, and a large share of its transport demand — airport pickups, sightseeing, Himalayan road trips — is decided by visitors comparing options online before and during their trip. Operators running purely on phone and WhatsApp were invisible at exactly that moment. Arcetis built two complementary booking websites for this market: one optimised for a fast, frictionless ride request, and one a fuller platform with accounts and packages.
A travel booking site has to convert a stranger who may be in another country and time zone, so it has to build trust fast (reviews, years in business, a real local address) and make requesting a ride take under a minute. It also has to respect how the market actually books: many travellers want to confirm over WhatsApp rather than commit to a rigid form, while repeat and package customers want accounts and saved trips. One size does not fit both, which is why the two sites take different approaches to the same goal.
Arcetis designed and built both sites. pokharavehicle.com is a car, jeep, and taxi driver-hire site whose hero is a one-minute ride-request form — name, contact, date/time, vehicle, pickup — with no account required and confirmation over WhatsApp, backed by trust signals (since 2008, Lakeside Pokhara, Google and Tripadvisor ratings). pokharacabbooking.com is a fuller 24/7 cab-booking platform with user accounts (login/register), a from/to booking flow, and travel packages. Both are live and mobile-fast.
