How to evaluate an SEO company in Nepal without falling for a ranking guarantee -- what Arcetis will and will not promise, and why.
No legitimate SEO company can guarantee a specific Google ranking, including Arcetis -- anyone who promises one is either lying or does not understand how search works. What we can show you is verifiable: a Google Partner badge, our own site auditing product WebsiteValidator.com, and a positioning as Nepal's first agency building specifically for AEO/GEO (answer engine and generative engine optimization), the discipline that decides whether AI tools cite your business at all.
Search "best SEO company in Nepal" and you will find agencies promising "guaranteed first page ranking" within 30 or 60 days. That claim should disqualify an agency immediately -- nobody controls Google's algorithm, and a company willing to say it does is either inexperienced or willing to mislead you to close a sale. We will not make that promise. What we will do is tell you honestly what is realistic for your site, your competition, and your budget, and show our work as we go.
We also think "SEO company" is becoming an incomplete description of the job. A growing share of how people find a business now goes through AI answers -- ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google's AI Overviews -- not a blue-link search results page. We built our own site auditing tool, WebsiteValidator.com, partly because we needed to understand what makes a page readable to both traditional crawlers and AI systems, and we now position ourselves as Nepal's first agency actively working on AEO/GEO (answer and generative engine optimization) alongside traditional SEO, not instead of it.
A lot of "SEO packages" sold in Nepal are a monthly blog post and a backlink count with no connection to what actually moves rankings for your specific site. Real SEO work starts with a technical audit -- is the site fast, is it indexable, does it have duplicate or thin content, does it load correctly on mobile -- because no amount of content fixes a technically broken site. We run that audit first, using tools including our own, before recommending a content or link strategy.
For Nepali businesses specifically, local and national search behave differently depending on whether you are competing for "[service] in Kathmandu" style queries or a national, less geographically anchored term. We tell clients upfront which keywords are realistically winnable in six months, which take a year or more, and which are not worth chasing given the current competition -- because a report full of vanity keywords you will never rank for is not useful to you.
SEO engagements start around NPR 20,000 a month and scale with the size of the site and the competitiveness of the market. We scope it after an audit, not before, because quoting a number without seeing the site first is a guess dressed up as a price.
You get a monthly report that shows actual ranking movement, organic traffic, and what we changed and why -- not a vague "optimization performed" line. If something is not working, we say so and change approach rather than continuing to bill for a strategy that is not performing.
Because no agency controls Google's algorithm, and any guarantee is either a misunderstanding of how search works or a sales tactic. We will give you an honest estimate of what is achievable and in what timeframe, based on your current site and competition.
AEO/GEO is optimizing so AI tools like ChatGPT and Google's AI Overviews can find and cite your business, not just traditional search. We started working on this early because a growing share of buyer research now happens inside an AI answer, not a search results list.
It depends on your site's current state and how competitive your keywords are, but meaningful movement usually takes three to six months, with compounding results after that. We will tell you a realistic timeline for your specific site rather than a generic "90 days" promise.
We do both. Since SEO often requires technical fixes to the site itself, having the same team handle web development and SEO avoids the back-and-forth of two separate agencies blaming each other.
